Out of the shadows
Nobody in the human world had any idea about my existence until publication of The Binkle and the Catawampus Compass . I suppose should have seen it coming–though my sort is not psychic. Too practical and dealing with what’s going on at the moment.
But once the word was out, there was no stopping the kind of curiosity us fairy-folk tried to prevent for eons. And it’s not just curiosity. A lot has been written over the years that’s just plain not true. People are trying to sort out the truth from the fiction–the facts about gnomes from the made-up stories.
More than you ever expected to know about gnomes
In late summer of 2008 – that’s human years – the book went public. That would;ve been bad enough, but people started to read it. And they’d tell other people about it. And then the videos I got talked into making started to show up here and there. And there was no slowing it down after a while. Leave alone stopping it.
You know what I’m telling you is true because you’re here reading this. And you’re not the only one–not by a long shot. I’ve made it easy–against my better judgment, I might add. Between the book (and others to come) and this blog a whole lot more is coming to light.
